Description

This Pink Dwarf Jatropha is a highly coveted improved pink cultivar with darker color and better heat tolerance that other pink types. It matures at about 6 to 7 feet, as an attractive subtropical tree-like shrub that can be grown as a multi stemmed large shrub or small tree. Can be grown outdoors in Zone 9, 10, 11 with cold protection. Dwarf Jatropha blooms nearly year round in tropical climates, with clusters of bright dark pink five petaled flowers with dense attractive, glossy, green to bronze leaves with interesting varied shapes. This plant performs well as small patio standard, as a feature or focal point near an entry, as a transition feature in other plantings. It can be grown as a large potted plant indefinitely.
Condition: One (1) Well rooted, starter size plant growing and shipped in a 4 inch diameter plastic pot. Plant will be a minimum of about 6 to 8 inches tall and unlikely to have bloom or bud at the time of shipping.
