Description

Enhance the beauty of your outdoor garden with an amazing flowering Gulmohar as avenue plant.Delonix regia is branched, broad, spreading, flat crowned deciduous tree. The attractive, semi deciduous leaves are elegant and fern like. Long, dark brown seed pods hang on the tree throughout the winter.

The flowers of Delonix are large, with four spreading scarlet or orange-red petals and a fifth upright petal called the standard petal.

Care And Nurture

It grows better under moist, warm climate but cannot stand water logging.
Recommended for planting in parks, gardens and inside lawns. Suitable for avenue planting.

Watering

young trees appreciate watering once or twice per week during dry weather.
Well-established trees require very little supplemental irrigation

Lighting

Grows well and sufficiently in ample sunlight conditions
Flame trees perform best in large, open spaces and full sunlight

Soil and Fertilization

Requires Fertile, moist, but well-drained soil.
Use any organic fertilizer when required.

Sunlight	More than 6 hours of direct bright sunlight a day.
Watering	Before water poke your finger/plain small stick into the soil to check the moisture. Water when top soil (1-2 inches) feels dry to touch. Water thoroughly in the summer and reduce watering in winter and rainy season.
Soil	The soil should be well drained and fertile, rich in organic content for growing plant. Grow well in pH range of 6.5 to 7.5

Fertilizer	During the main growing season (June-July) feed the plant with organic fertilizer.
