Bougainvillea spectabilis, also known as great bougainvillea, is a species of flowering plant. It is native to Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, and Argentina s Chubut Province. These are generally bushy and luscious in nature and makes for a great decor to adorn the frontyards . Bougainvilleas love hot, dry, sunny spaces and they seem to perform better when slightly neglected, so don't be too attentive with your plant and it should thrive. Water thoroughly and then allow the top inch or two of soil to dry out before you water again.(However, Consider the region climate). The easiest way to test the soil moisture content is to stick your finger into it( if it in a pot or container).

Watering

Water the plant when the soil feels dry to touch .Water thoroughly in the summer and reduce watering for the winter & rainy season
